    • Confirmed the customer complaint, found rattling noise is heard when accelerating the engine. Checked oil level and found oil is not registering on the dip stick at this time. FOUND NOISE IS COMING FROM THE TIMING CHAIN AND VALVETRAIN ON TOP OF ENGINE DUE TO LACK OF LUBRICATION. Recommend oil change service is performed, and 1 qt of oil is substituted w/ 1 qt of the Lucas Oil Stabilizer to sooth engine. INSPECTED THE VEHICLE FOR LEAKS AND FOUND THE FRONT CRANKSHAFT SEAL IS LEAKING OIL. POSSIBLE TIMING COVER LEAK, RECOMMEND THE FRONT CRANKSHAFT SEAL IS REMOVED AND REPLACED FIRST THEN WILL RE-CHECK FOR LEAKS. Front brake pad percentage is at 20% remaining life, recommend the front brake pads are replaced and both front rotors are resurfaced if within specification. Rear brake pad percentage is at 15% remaining life. Recommend the rear brake pads are replaced and both rear rotors are scuffed if within specification. Scanned the engine control module for codes: P0300 – Random Cylinder Misfire Detected.
